What to Wear
Our wedding is all about celebrating together - not dressing up for a formal ballroom. We want you to feel like the best version of yourself in something you're already comfortable wearing.
Think rustic, cozy, whimsical, gothic, western, or subtle Harry Potter-inspired... or simply wear something that feels like you!
What We'd Love to See
from our Witches, Wizards, Muggles, & Ghouls!
-
Black is absolutely welcome (It is Halloween, after all!)
- Earthy tones like rust, mocha, teal, sage, eucalyptus, cream & denim
- Dresses, sweaters, flannels, jeans, skirts, button-downs, boots, or cowboy hats
- Costumes for the reception if you'd like to join in the Halloween fun!
Most Importantly...
Please do not feel like you need to buy a new outfit. We'd much rather have you comfortable and enjoy yourselves than dress up in something that doesn't feel like you.
Shoes Matter!
Our ceremony & reception take place outdoors on gravel, dirt, and uneven paths. We highly recommend:
- Cowboy boots, combat boots, dress boots, Dr. Martens, and similar footwear are highly encouraged.
- Vans, Sneakers, or clean tennis shoes
- Loafers
- Flats
The ceremony and reception are both outdoors on gravel, dirt, and uneven ground, so comfortable shoes will make your day much more enjoyable. We recommend avoiding stilettos or narrow heels, as they can sink into the ground and make walking difficult.

A Few Suggestions
To help match the relaxed woodland atmosphere, we are asking to avoid:
-
Neon or extremely bright colors
-
Overly sparkly or flashy attire
-
Black-tie tuxedos or formal ball gowns
Our wedding is intentionally rustic and relaxed, so we encourage comfort over formality. A suit certainly isn't required. If your favorite outfit is a nice pair of jeans, boots, and a flannel or button-down, you'll fit right in.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
For the health and comfort of all guests, smoking (cigarettes, cigars, cannabis) will not be permitted.
Electronic vapes / mods are allowed.
