Our Story
Cassie & Levi’s love story first sparked in 2018 when a vulnerable TikTok video set their paths into motion. Levi stumbled onto Cassie’s page, instantly drawn to her honesty, humor, & that bright, infectious smile. He hopped into her livestream with a little joke — “Did you have to kill 32 oysters or something? Because you have a mouth full of pearls.”
Cassie rolled her eyes, laughed, & kept the conversation flowing with those on the livestream. One comment became another, & soon their back-and-forth videos evolved into long, meaningful text conversations that stretched late into the night. Despite their differences, their shared love for animals & crafting made opening up feel effortless. Levi's more straightforward & hard nature & Cassie's more loving & nurturing personality balanced each other, turning their differences into a beautiful complement. When they finally FaceTimed for the first time, the call lasted more than eight hours — a night filled with laughter, deep conversation, & the kind of instant connection that makes the world feel smaller.
In January 2019, Cassie flew from California to Arizona so the two could spend time together in person, closing the 700-mile gap. The chemistry between them was undeniable. Their first date was at a small pub near Levi’s apartment, followed by a pottery day in Chandler where Levi showed off a new side of himself — one that wanted to create something special just for her. Cassie, who had always had a soft spot for arts and ceramics, was thrilled, but her heart was filled more with love over the fact that it was Levi's birthday & he wanted to spend it making her happy. They spent the rest of that trip exploring cozy shops, enjoying good food, & ending their days with movie marathons — solidifying a bond that already felt so natural.

Over the next few months, Cassie & Levi made the most of their long-distance relationship. Cassie returned to Arizona for a romantic Valentine’s weekend, & Levi later visited California to step into Cassie’s world — morning dog walks, coffee runs, work shifts, & evenings spent with her friends. One day, the two of them stood with Cassie’s father on the shores of San Gregorio & Martins Beach, sharing simple, peaceful moments that meant more than either could express.

Cassie & Levi cherished every moment they spent together in California & Arizona. Cassie deeply missed the cool ocean breeze, the towering redwoods, & the quiet beauty of the California trees she grew up with. Levi, in contrast, longed for the familiar comfort of dirt roads, open space, and the rural calm of New Mexico. But more than anything, they realized that being apart from one another was far harder than missing any landscape.

Arizona began to tug at Cassie’s heart. She loved the slower pace, the cost of living, & the feeling of home she found beside Levi. After Levi’s family lovingly invited her to join them on a trip to St. Louis — baseball games, sightseeing, breweries, & late-night conversations — Cassie felt a deep sense of acceptance & belonging. It didn’t take long for her to realize where she wanted her future to be.

In July 2019, Cassie took a road trip to Arizona with her father & their late dog, Serabi, to search for an apartment. Just weeks later, Levi packed up his essentials, flew to California, & drove back with Cassie — her new puppy, Shenzi, her grandmother, Karol, a rabbit, some crested geckos & a car full of belongings — officially closing the distance.

Life quickly unfolded in beautiful, chaotic ways. Cassie & Levi created a home filled with love, animals, & laughter. Over the years, they welcomed another rabbit, more geckos, frogs, a ball python, and eventually their two other beloved dogs, Koda and Sam. Their household grew into a joyful, bustling menagerie — the kind of family only two true animal lovers could build.

In 2023, Cassie & Levi moved into a cozy three-bedroom rental home in Chandler, Arizona. Within the first year, they added even more furry & scaly companions — including a cat named Binx — to the already magical mix. Their house became a lively sanctuary filled with warmth, memories, & the comfort of building a life together.

As their lives became more intertwined & their love grew even stronger, Levi made a heartwarming move by asking Cassie the big question on her birthday, November 9th, 2024. This marked the beginning of a new & exciting chapter in their extraordinary love story.
